We visited the Eden Palm palm grove today and it was absolutely amazing! I was completely mesmerised with the view. Since I didn't take any other lenses for my camera, it's really hard to try to show you what I saw there. I hope maybe the photographer got good pictures so I can show it later. We had a little history/biology lesson about date palms and what could be made of dates and the palms, as well as a degustation and breakfast in the grove.

After the palm grove (which became one of my favourite places on Earth) we headed to the desert, to Les Dunes Electroniques. I'm not the biggest fan of such electronic music but I could see that people who came really enjoyed the festival and the vibe there. Plus a little before we left, better artists came up. The view was amazing and it was probably a once in a lifetime experience - a music festival in the Sahara desert. Even though there was nothing but sand and dunes around us, the view was amazing. We had bad luck with the weather but hey, no one to blame for that. But I was prepared so it was fine. Tomorrow I think we'll visit the desert again, just not the festival.

Tänane päev oli minu jaoks kuidagi väga eriline. Kõigepealt käisime Eden Palm palmisalus, mis asub Tozouris. Kogu Tozour on üleüldse oaasi ehitatud, mistõttu neid palme ja salusid siin jagub. Degusteerisime datlisiirupit ja muud, mida nad seal kohapeal datlitest teevad.

Palmisalu ise oli minu jaoks midagi absoluutselt maagilist. Veidi meenutas see mulle WoWi loodust ja kuidagi üldse valdas mind mingi eriline tunne. Ükskõik kui palju pilte ma ka ei teinud, ei suuda ma seda emotsiooni ja vaadet teile edasi anda. Kui hiljem fotograafi pildid saame, siis ma loodan, et sealt tuleb midagi head. Nagu ma mainisin, siis vaatepildid jäävad natuke niruks, sest kaasas ju vaid fiks obje.

Pärast palmisalu suundusime juba festivalile. Täna ei olnud vihmasajuga nii hull lugu, vähemalt kuni selle ajani, mil me hakkasime ära tulema. Lõpus tuli sellist vihma, et vähe pole. Seda tüüpi elektrooniline muusika pole ka päris minu maitse, kuid oli näha, et inimesed keda see huvitab, nautisid seda väga. Üleüldse oli see kogemus vist üks neist "kord elus" kogemustest, sest kui suur tõenäosus ikka on, et ma oma elus Sahara kõrbesse muusikafestivalile satun. Vaade ja kõik oli seal imeilus, kuigi ju vaid kõrb. Ja mis kõige vingem? Sain jalutada Mos Espa tänavate vahel (: (see ütleb midagi vaid neile, kes Star Warsi filme näinud või midagi neist teab. Homme peaks meid samuti kõrb ootama.
